TELL CLAUDE: is the road to the cabin plowed? Do guests need AWD or snow tyres between certain months? Is Trail Ridge Road closed in winter (it is, roughly October to May) and does that change how people should drive in? Being straight about this prevents the one-star review that starts "we couldn't get up the driveway".
Grand Lake sits at roughly 8,400 feet. Guests coming from sea level often feel it on the first day — headaches, broken sleep, getting winded on a gentle walk. Drink more water than feels necessary, go easy on the first evening, and save the big hike for day two. TELL CLAUDE: check this reads right for you, and add anything you tell guests yourself.
Rocky Mountain National Park has used a timed-entry reservation system in peak season in recent years, booked ahead on recreation.gov. The rules change year to year, so check before you travel.
